Guardian Gear

The Guardian Gear website was built in early 2010 and is still undergoing development. The client was eager to get a site up as soon as possible while they finish business preparations for the online store. I used my favorite CMS ModX as the back-end so the client is able to log into the site and make updates to the news and catalog items themselves.

I think it's also worth mentioning that this is the first site I have built that uses web fonts. This gives the navigation and headers a custom look regardless if the users' computer has the appropriate fonts installed. By using downloaded web fonts for navigation and headers instead of images this keeps the site flexible for updates by the client.
